Painting #208 - I saw these cattails while walking along the Avon River in Stratford Ontario. I had big ideas for paintings these beautiful plants, however, I'm glad I did this small study first. I don't think this subject matter lends itself to a larger painting ... or maybe it does but what could I use for the "wow" factor?

Painting #207 - I just returned from holidays last week and haven't painted in so long! My family and I drove from Alberta to Ontario and this painting represents some of the trees and rock I saw while driving along Lake Superior.
